Fashion Show by Cecil Rivoire

DME brought in 25 Hollywood women to attend an reception and fashion show at the Four Seasons Hotel in Los Angeles. The event showcased gowns designed by Cecile Rivoire. Complimentry champagne was served, as VIP guests viewed the designs by Cecile Rivoire. Some of the celebrities who attended were; Florence Henderson, Carol Connors, Kristian Alfonso, Alison Sweeney and others.

 

Rancho Bernardo Chamber of Commerce Celebrity Golf Tournament
(August 11, 2003)

36 celebrities and former athletes played in a five-some with corporate men and women who are in support of the Rancho Bernardo Chamber of Commerce and it's efforts. The tournament was held at the Rancho Bernardo Country Club. Some of the celebrities in attendance were; Chris Judd, B.J. McPhearson, Joe Conley, Patrika Darbo, Mike Lansford, Don Murray, Sam Scarber and others.

Local 770 Leukemia/Lymphoma Society Celebrity Golf Tournament

Like every year, with over 50 celebrities from Hollywood, Olympians and retired athletes, this event was a big success. The event was held in Santa Clarita at the Robinson Ranch golf course on Monday, August 18th, 2003. The raffle prizes were spectacular and the pre tournament breakfast was the usual feast. If you didn't sign up for this years tournament, there is always next year!

Orange County Bar Foundation Celebrity Golf Tournament at Strawberry Farms

For a number of years now, DME has booked great celebrities for the Orange County Bar Foundation's golf tournament. Owned and operated by former MLB player Doug DeCinces, Strawberry Farms golf course is always a fun course for the celebrities and patrons to play. While mingling during the cocktail hour, patrons and celebrities viewed the silent auction items and made their bids.

Vision Ridefor the Foundation For the Junior Blind
(November 16, 2003)

November 16th will mark the First Annual Vision Ride for the Foundation For the Junior Blind. This event will be a 50 mile ride beginning at the RockStore in Malibu. Afterwards there will be a party at the corner of Civic Center in Malibu. The destination spot will have food, drinks and a great blues band for entertainment. This is sure to be an exciting event that will raise money for an excellent cause. This unique organization helps young people that have eye problems to better their quality of life. They not only provide families assistance with transportation but also with medical attention to their young ones. Celebrity riders that will participte are those like; Gary Busey, Cris Judd, Anne Lokhart and more.

FILA Cancer Challange 5/10K Run/Walk & Kiddie Fun Run
(November 9, 2003)

On Sunday, November 9th, DME will coordinate the celebrities for the 6th Annual FILA Cancer Challenge 5K/10K & Kiddie Fun Run at UCLA. The proceeds from the walk and it's wonderful Pancake Breakfast, will benefit the Hirshberg Pancreatic Cancer Center at UCLA. Over 1,500 participants are expected to enter this year's event. With celebrities walking and running side by side the patrons, this is sure to be a great event. As well as joining in the morning stretching, the celebrities will be there after the walk for press interviews and available for photos for a $5 donation to the Hirshberg Pancreatic Cancer Center.

Pagent of the Masters-Festival of the Arts
( August 30, 2003)

It has been the tradition for those of you that know of this magnificent event, to simply enjoy the excitement around you. August 30, DME booked all of the stars who attended the Festival of Arts, Pageant of the Masters Gala/VIP fundraiser dinner. There was a press area established at the entrance to catch all of the stars that were in attendance and an inviting champagne and wine reception to enjoy. Following the private art showings, there was an exclusive dinner served in the romantic, Italian restaurant on site. Jane Seymour was the gracious host of this years Pagent of the Masters and she was joined by upcoming star Chris Carmack of the FOX show "The O.C.", Sean Kanan of the soap "The Bold & The Beautiful", Khleo Thomas of the film "Holes", Joe Conley of the former "Waltons" and others.

San Clemente Sunrise Rotary Club Celebrity Golf Classic

Telega Golf Club hosted the annual celebrity golf classic at their jewel of a course, Monday August 25th. 36 celebrities donated their time to play in the golf tournament fundraiser that was hosted by the Rotary Club. If you attended, you met Frank Bonner, Brian Goodell, Bill Russell, Pete Shaw, Ronda Shear, Wil Shriner, Bill Smitrovich and more. Following the tournament was an awards dinner and silent/live auction. This is an annual event for DME so we will keep you posted as the the date for next year as this year was a big success!!

MIND BODY & SPIRIT FOUNDATION
(November )

After much hard work and persistence, the Mind, Body & Spirit Foundation will host its first annual event. Lucky for the foundation, Mr. Gregory Hines, Sr. has granted permission to the foundation to use his son's name for event, now titled, the First Annual Gregory Hines Celebrity Golf Tournament to benfit the Mind, Body & Spirit Foundation and the Salvation Army of Las Vegas. It will be held at The Badlands Golf Club in Las Vegas, NV. Twenty Hollywood stars will participate in the tournament that will kick off with a welcome party on at The Suncoast Hotel & Casino. Merv Griffin/Childhelp USA Celebrity Tennis Tournament

David Mirisch and Merv Griffin have been friends for years. Merv and Childhelp USA hired DME to help organize and book the talent for the 2nd Annual tennis tournament at the prestigious Beverly Hills Country club in Cheviot Hills, Calif. This year DME had the pleasure of bringing in stars such as Matthew Perry, Wendie Malick, Jeremy London, Eric Braeden, Anna Wilding and David Fosterl. The press was thrilled.

In Defense of Animals
(October 16, 2003)

This year In Defense of Animals (IDA) held it's most important fundraiser of the year at the Casa Del Mar Hotel in Santa Monica. IDA honored Pierce Brosnan, Frances Fisher and others for their extraordinary efforts to help rescue animals to make a differance on earth. One of the special guests will be Jane Goodall. She will be honored for her lifetime achievements and efforts in her work with the chimpanzees. With pride, DME acted as the head consultant of this honorable event.
